Runescape is a MMORPG via the obvious website name, runescape.com. It's a very fun game, and even has a free version, which is just like the full version except with less features and map space. The membership is only 5 bucks a month, anyway. It's a very fun game and I've been playing for a few years now, almost just after they changed the name from DeviusMUD to Runescape.

Another thread about this boring, but surprisingly well constructed game? I played it for about one weekend just recently (re-registered) and decided that I'd just stick with SWG.

Starting and continuing playing the game for the first time takes alot of paitence. It's a slow start and not all too exciting. The game really takes off when you're a higher level. It keeps my interest enough and for a good price.

I played it probably for close to a year almost three years ago. About halfway into it I got BORED with it. My recent restart had the same effect. Sorry.

Oh no doubt. Runescape is very boring. I usually only get on during updates. That's one thing I like about Runescape, weekly updates. Keeps the game fresh. However, I stay on a bit more lately because of the new Slayer skill. Basically you just fight monsters. You go to a master, they give you a monster and how many to kill, you kill them, and come back for another assignment. Higher slayer levels let you use new equipment and fight more monsters. Still kinda bland, though. Tried to woodcut yesterday and stopped after gettnig 5 Yew.

I played the for a day then stopped, but my brother is hooked on it. He is trying to get me off now so he can play.

I don't like Runescapes new "advances" if you call them that.
