Ever get frustrated because you're doing an RP and you don't know whose "turn" it is? I know I have.
Well, what I'd like to do is start a thread that adapts the "baton-passing" method of storytelling into the written form.
Simply put, everyone has a set turn.
Now, the rules would be a little different:
1) Whoever has the "baton" is in complete control of the story. That might mean some bizarre things could happen; but hey, that's life, is it not?
Generally though, this accepts that the players are skilled enough to know their limits for the sake of the story.
2) No one may "steal" the "baton" as it were. In other words, everyone must go on their turn and only their turn. This pends extenuating circumstances, of course.
3) ... um... no... weasels?
Okay, I remember their being more rules, but I think someone stole them. While I go hunt down whoever stole the rules, you people tell me if you're interested.
