Anyone watch this awesome show and or upset it seems they are not continuing it?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't have HBO. But we recently got blockbuster dvd service and I was pretty excited because that meant I finally got to watch this show. I'm a total history buff and loved the fact that someone was finally making a quality episodal series that could bring the centuries alive.
So I ordered the first 3 dvds. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the first 2 episodes. Why? The blant nudity and sex. I know I should have expected it being HBO but I suppose it didn't really cross my mind. And yes of course I know most of that is very likely historically accurate but I don't need to see it in a tv show or anywhere else. I really wanted to watch the show, I really did. I struggled with it but finally just sent them back. Temptation was just too great.
