CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

But you can't lop off a person's ancestry. Paul is speaking about people who value God's kindness or not. They stand by faith, or not. It is not about ancestry. Otherwise all Christians should be on their way to get modern Israel's citizenship papers. Have you? why not? What possible reason could you have for not getting Israeli citizenship?

Can you not see why descendancy is repudiated (Jn 1) and no longer matters? This is a MAJOR NT theme. How can you miss it?

There we have some truth from you, brother. You are trying to operate in two systems. Christianity and Judaism. We don't have anything to do with what is outside of Christ. Our theology is Christian--that which is in Christ. All the promises to the fathers are fulfilled in His resurrection. We do not beleive 2P2P. Judaism says it is a separate reality but in the OT.

To defend what is plainly there. Paul isn't going to curse other gospels in one chapter and then give a completely different one from his own in the next.

Because they don't want to learn. They are afraid of what they will learn. They are in churches full of people who insult instead of learn, or who despise instead of learn. They don't have the master's level language and history background that some of us have, so they call it "gibberish" to cope with it.
