  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

exactly~ the moment I'm moved into my one level home, I'm going to see if I can't find a home church near me. I need to feed my spirit properly.

Understand ya on that one. Had a boss once told me why do I want to waste time at church for when there is $$$$$$ to be made. Told him $$$$$ ain't my god! month later I quit and 3months later he had Heart attack...could there be a message for him???

Uh yeah. It's funny how God works in mysterious ways, such as bringing one to their knees when they get a little too cocky. Yes, revenge does belong to our Lord doesn't it?

You are most likely right, there wt. I don't usually work 8 hours on Sunday, so I can usually either go morning, or night, but rarely both. I am off most Wednesdays, so I can go then, I just haven't lately!
