CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is good...To participation is important. To be an active learner is great... I did that (active learn) on my second time around in University. The prof liked it becaues it showed that I was read the textbook and that I was interested in what they had to say... I have found that many times that people sit on the log, which there very good at...

I get in to trouble about stating that stuff with my Sunday Class. I been called a rebel. I wrote a friend on how the class is like the Titanic. We no the waters are dangerous yet we go full spd ahead. We party, we make plans but the icebergs, the problems of life are there waiting to sink us. The problem, the icebergs are there... We have a life boat. The Lifeboat is called Jesus or God, he is the samething. We get into the life boat and man the oars (faith without works is dead) we do mission trips, we share our lives with each other and we are kind and good our nieghbors, after all we might be the only Bible people read. If we didn't man the oars the suction from the ship would pull us in. Our worldly lives are like that. The world and all the cares that we have will suck us in...
