Most times, but not always. We're fammed for the Blizzard of '77. Which was a winter like this one, very warm for January. Actually Syracuse gets more snow than we do (neener-neener-neener )

What year was there floods up that way, early 70's? We went through on our way to Niagra. We were camping along the way and I remember we had to boil the water before drinking it.

I remember it flooding really bad around 74 or 75, or was it 73-ish . Maybe that was it?

We're going near there tomorrow. Snow Camp for the teens is next weekend, and that's not too far from Olean either. Although, I think this year it will be Teen Mud Camp. I love going down there. The hills are so beautiful.

I love the countryside after a fresh snowfall, so pristine and serene...

Yeah, somewhere around then. We went right through Buffalo. There was a town we went through, can't remember the name and saw a house in the middle of the street. There was no hole it came out of. Weird what you can remember.

As for closings of threads ... I saw that and thought that is was a shame. It could been a good soap opera thing.
