Well truth be told, all of the fight scenes sucked. I mean how many times are you going to fall for the same straight right, that is being telegraphed over and over?

If you want to see a great fight movie, that is about as realistic as it gets. Watch "Play it to the Bone".
That is a great movie, and the fight scenes look realistic.

Two things make Rocky great.
1. The story.
2. The music.

I would have to disagree with you.
Maybe 5 was the worst one, but the others are classics and awesome!!
I can watch 3 over and over and over, but the first one was the slowest of the 5.
But at the same time, one of the things that made it so great was how they built up the moment of the fight.

I was on a business trip once to Philadelphia where they filmed Rocky and I have stood on the Steps he ran up. Apparently the market place he runs through just prior to that is about 5 miles away.
