CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like a little Ozzy and Black Sabbath. I've been an Alice Cooper (band AND artist) fan since the mid '70s. "Welcome to My Nightmare" is one of my favorite albums.
Not so much Manson or Zombie. My GENERAL tastes run a little less...um...metal-y.

Ozzy is good but very overplayed, especially certain singles.
Same goes for Rob Zombie.
Manson use to be good, but his newer music has been very bland.
Same goes for Cooper. Along Came A Spider has so much potential, but meh.

I like Gothic Metal......especially Gothic Doom (to include its parent genre, the forgotten Death/Doom scene). I'm not really too big into gothic rock though with the exception of maybe the cure and the cult.
Ozzy is fun to listen to, so is cooper. Manson is has some logical songs, but most of them appeal to the "i hate my dad" crowd of teens, not my cup of tea.

One or two songs.
Not even a little bit.
Hate his music, but as an individual, I think he seems like a really decent guy. I have to love anybody who can expound on the MC5 and reformed theology in the same breath.
