robin egg shell projects?

Aren't the shells pretty? After eating the contents & carefully washing out the shells, what do you guys do with them? They are so lovely I'd kinda like to keep them, but I'm not exactly what you'd call a 'crafty person'. In fact, I don't think I've ever posted, or even read any posts here before!

Any help you could give me I'd appreciate! After all, it is that robin egg time of year, I bet lots of people would need a thread like this with helpful suggestions from you who know what they're doing!

I've never worked with eggs before, but I'm thing a good coating of polyeurethane might be a good idea.

If they are nearly complete... what about filling them with plaster? That would give a solid center and make them harder to break.
