what do u think is with rob zombie?

I think that it's all show. There's a couple of his songs that I like, but generally it's kinda tacky (despite how much I love Industrial music). I definitely don't think the imagery he uses is meant to be serious. And why exactly was this (and the Metallica and AC/DC threads) brought up in the Contemporary Christian Music section and not the Secular Music Charts area?

Rob zombie scares me to death. He looks like a zombie and forgive me but i think he's demonic.

I think he's sick and needs Christ, honestly. When I was a young kid a neighbor of mine had a lot of his music, and he showed me the CD cover and played some of the songs. I was only about 11-12 and this was before I was saved as well.

I think if you're a Christian and you for some reason have any of his stuff, you should trash it!

I like his music. I made a Rob Zombie $ Powerman 5000 vs POD and Project 86 CD. It is quite possibly my favorite CD.

I often times get my fav secular songs and put them up against my favorite christian songs. It makes life very intersting.

John the Baptist and Rob Zombie are quite "antipodic" you might say (extreme opposites)

John the Baptist:
-stood for God even though the religious world around him was pathetic
-shunned self-glorification and gave all glory to God *John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.*
-told people that they were wrong and told them to repent (1 Cor. 2:14-15)

Rob Zombie:
-lives wickedly
-opposes Christ
-bad influence
-a friend of the world, therefore the enemy of God
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Rob Zombie was on the soundtrack for teh playstation game Twisted Metal, but i forget what one it was. I think the second one that came out. It was an awesome game. I like the song Dragula by him

I am aware of that, but my point was more about looks than anything. Looks don't matter to God, He is no respecter of fine dress, nor of fancy cars. In fact if you look at most of the prophets and the apostles, they were not often what would be called the cream of the crop. Jesus picked basically the rejects or the lower classes of society. He associated with sinners because they were the ones he came to save.

Plus Jesus died for Rob Zombie too.

i've got a few rob zombie songs, just of different soundtracks. i haven't heard a single swear word, though some of it's very weird (like dragula). all in all, i don't go past the few songs i've got.
