Drago Kazov stood staight in the air making his chair fall backwards. Rally up the troops and calvery.
"Send a messenger to Yorkshire and Liverpool. We'll need their help." said Kazov rushing out of the room.
Even heard yelling and running footsteps outside his room. Even opened his door and peared out.
"What's happening?" asked Even grabbing a servant.
"Sir, the enemy are attacking the castle!" replied the servant.
Outside the castle, troops with gold and white armor and silver helmets gathered behind the barracades, the archers manned the rooftops, and battery men armed the catipults. Drago Kazov, his wife, Cerebus Orties, and Alagan Yurapagorn were headed out the back of the castle to escape when the sky became dark.
"What the devil?" said Kazov stopping to pear at the now dark sky.
"It's Arhegan Dagon!" yelled Alagan continueing to run.
Even strapped on his chainmail and grabbed his sword and pack and head out the door. Even met up with William, Henry, Marion, and Loakin in the halls and began heading towards the back of the castle where the others were!
I sure hope the castle holds, thought Even panting.
Borien stood on the roof of the castle looking out at the enemy sworm. Chants of "the capital is ours, soon we will be home again" could be heard. The riot of silver helmeted soldiers were headed right into the enemy. The soldiers stopped and ducked down as the archers and catipults fired into the enemy crowd. Still, the chants held up!
"Looks like they ain't turning back this time." said Borien to himelf. "What's our count?"
"Sir, we have rallied up three fourths of our forces." said a soldier.
"How many?"
"Ummmm, ten-thousand, my lord"
"My gosh, they'll be slottered. Order them to retreat back to the baracades and tell the archers and batteries to keep firing into the front line."
"Yes, sir. Right away, sir."
The servant ran as fast as he could down to the soldiers.
Borien waited for the soldiers to turn back before he headed for the back of the castle!
Even caught up with his father and mother who were on their own horses.
"We must get out of here! If news of the journey gets out to the enemy, England will be lost. Now hurry!" yelled Kazov.
"We must wait for Borien!" replied Even getting on his horse.

'I'm listening.' said Rebecca, her voice full of concern.

Arannte looked up at Rebecca. "England--all of it--is in peril."

"That is nothing new." Sighed Rebecca, understanding. "What news from France?"

"Death stalks the land. My people have reported strange things around, things that hunt in the dark and creep through windows to take our young."

Rebecca shivered, the day seemed suddenly cold. "Sounds evil to me. Orcs, perhaps?"

Arannte leveled her eyes at her friend. "Perhaps. But one orc alone would not hazard us so dearly."

Rebecca was silent, and then she spoke. "A group, then? Why not call the goblin-hunters to rid France of this evil?"

"Have you ever faced an army of over thity thousand with a group of mere goblin hunters at your back?"

"Thirty thousand? We must move at once!"

Arannte sighed. "I will ride to Windsar, to see the King."

"Fly, Arannte! I will muster the best fighting people I can find and send them to Windsar."

"Farewell, princess."

"Say not such words of ill omen. I will send Levi after you to watch for snipers."

"Thank you, Rebecca. I am eternally grateful!"

With that, Arannte swung up on Nightmare and was speeding off into the darkness, her hand brushing her sword.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Darkness had overtaken the horse and rider, and Arannte dared not halt, feeling the tingle on the back of her neck that betrayed a lurking enemy, waiting to kill travellers such as she.
While at the full gallop, she strung her bow and set arrow to string, bracing the bow against the pommel, ready to shoot, while her left arm drew her daggar.
Quick as a blink, a net enfolded her, and she sliced it apart easily, her horse pulling free of the tangled mess on dainty feet, ducking a shaft released from Arannte's bow.
A solid thud was heard, and the rider spurred Nightmare on again, urgently this time.
The knife glinted in the moonlight and Arannte released another arrow, which sped off into the darkness with a satisfying thud.
She vanished into the darkness along the road, her steed's hooves making rhythmic beats on the hard turf.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

She was nearing Windsor.

She saw the glinting of dawn on the helmets, and her exhausted body protested at the strain it had taken.

She had switched horses briefly, to her packhorse to save Nightmare somewhat for the harder ride that was sure to be ahead of her.

Arannte slipped from the saddle and drew her sword, letting the sunlight gleam on it, drawing the attention of one of the people who were holding the palace at seige.

Hopefully her news would turn them away.

If it wouldn't, she would fight to the death to get the message to the King.

She readied her bow and arrow, two shafts on the string.

Even and the others rode as fast they could through darkness. Screams and yells of the enemy could be heard in the distance. Even said a silent prayer in his head as they rode. All of a sudden, he thought he saw a sword glissen out of the corner of his eye!
"Stop!" yelled Even.
The group stopped and looked at Even.
"Son, we must not linger! The enemy is nearing!" said Kazov.
"I saw something. Loakin, William, and Henry, follow me. We'll meet with you guys at the river!"
The three kings and Borien contiued riding as the four rode towards the the sword Even claimed to see...

Arannte could hear horsemen, approaching her. Four.

She stood beside her horse as they approached, squinting against the sunlight as they stared directly towards her.

The horses slowed, then stopped, a not thirty yards from her, and the horses shifted, stamping their feet impatiently.

Arannte kept the bow taut as the men inspected the heavily-armed, cloaked figure that she was. "Who are you and what business do you have here?" One of them asked.

Arannte circled around her horse, not allowing the string to slacken. Her eyes were wary.

"I seek the King of this castle." She said, gesturing towards the building in the distance.

Even felt the breath whipped out of him as he heard her voice. It was that unexpected. "A woman!" he exclaimed.

Arannte pulled her hood back. "Aye. A woman. And one who could kill you." She cautioned.

"I am Prince Even. What is it you wish to tell my father?"

"It is an honor." she said, collecting herself. "The enemy rises in the South, and seeks to destroy England. France is already failing."

"France!" one of the men exclaimed. "What has France to do with us?"

"A great deal, foolish soldier. France is all that protects you from the harsh reality of evil. Goblins, Orcs, trolls, dark dwarves and their human allies are already seeking to kill the weak."

"How many?" Even asked.

"Over thirty thousand."

The men were silent, and then Even cautiously said, "You seem brave enough. I know nothing of your past, but for your knowledge and expertise, I shall ask you to accompany us on our mission."

"Which is...."

Even smiled. He couldn't help but admire the hard-eyed fighter that faced him fearlessly.

Arannte remounted Nightmare and spurred her to a gallop, the black hooves thrumming on the turf as she hit the saddle.

Nightmare stretched out her neck eagerly, reaching for speed. She seemed to frolic across the grassy ground, kicking up her heels as the packhorse followed on obediently behind, running neck-and-neck with Henry's horse.

Arannte ducked a shaft, and loosed the two on her string, taking out two goblin sentries that stood in her path, and taking a slight detour as she lowered her light lance that lay across her saddle, striking an orc in the neck.

She made for the trees behind Even.

Ok, ok. I don't think you really get the plot. The Christian's alone are the good guys, not using any magic. Evil and magic have combined their powers and are fighting the Christians. Fairy's are magical beings. Why are they being nice? Who are they talking to?

Even could here the yelling of the enemy getting closer.
Looks like the soldiers have been whipped out, thought Even speeding faster and faster on his white steed!
All of a sudden, a fire ball landed at the ground in front of his horse!!
"A dragon!!" yelled Henry.
