Riverdance

Granted not really a musical or a play, but has anyone seen it? It's fantastic!! I went last year and I really enjoyed how the show incorporated American tap dancing.

There was a "dance duel" between one of the Irish step dancers and one of the tappers.

What a fun show! I highly recommend it.

i saw the origional riverdance with Michael Flatly. what dancers!! and i thik it received a standing ovation !

It's really good! I went to see it about 2 years ago when I still lived in NJ...went to broadway to see it. It was worth it! I don't have the DVD but I doubt it's as good as live on stage.

*grimaced look* We do a River Dance number in Moby Dick. It is the hardest dance I've ever done. It's way too quick, plus we have to sing at the same time, and it just keeps getting faster and faster!

yadda I have seen riverdance on a video that I have. It would be cool to see it live! Michale Flattly's Lord of the Dance a.k.a feet of flames is great too. Gotta Love the music!

I've Seen river dance and I enjoyed it. I wonder how much training and practice it took for everyone to be in sync.

i dont think they will have done much. i mean they will all be professional dancers already. all they will need to do is to learn the new ones... which i think would be similar to the ones they do already.

I saw Riverdance a couple of years ago at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio...and also saw Lord of the Dance in Lafayette, LA at the Cajundome a few years ago.....I am a huge fan of these!

Riverdance is coming back to San Antonio next month.....pray that I can get to go
