CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ahhh look in the surrounding towns you may be surprized how many places that teach dance ..try a dance for kids they can teach you the same dances..

it probably will always stay a dream.... wonder if there is a DVD or smth that teaches irish dancing? Oh well if there is it will be sold somewhere on the other side of the world.... Of well all is left is to dream....

I think Irish Step Dancing is the coolest. I love the way the dancers move thier feet and its incredible the speed they do it

Oh, I just love it! I've always wanted to do it, but I've never been able to get any lessons or anything. I don't think I'd be to bad at it if I was just able to learn! Oh, I'd just love to do it!! I want to learn!! LOL.

Hey. I would really love to do Irish Dancing as i'm looking for something to do out of school but my parents can't take me cause the school that teaches it is too far away. I'll just keep watching Riverdance and dreaming. LOL You actually can buy DVDs and stuff and last nite i found a website that attempts to explain some of the basic steps used in dancing, both types of Irish dancing, soft shoe and is it Reel dancing with the hard shoes??? Not entirely sure what that one is called.

oh...that would be so much fun to try. when i was 13 i saw theLord of the Dance and ever since i've thought that it would be grate to try. sadly i live in a small town and there is no where around here that teaches it. *sigh* maybe when i'm older i'll have a chance to try it.

I just recently went to go see it and it was amazing I would love to do it in the future but right now hip hop and tap are my life.
