Brandon watched as a guard shot at a prisoner who was trying to push past another guard. He felt his blood get hot as he stood there listening to the others brainstorm.
"Distracting the guards?" Brandon asked before turning to face the others, "Perfect. Joanna, you're with me. We'll take out the guards while Lucas and Adrian do what they can to help Josh. Once you guys get him out, let us know and then contact Kai. Hopefully he won't be too tied up to open a portal for us to get out of here."
A loud commotion made Brandon think that Josh was really trying to put up a fight against those guys. He took a deep breath, mentally trying to keep a hold on his powers.

Dr. Morgan strapped on a modified handgun before signaling his newfound team to head out. They were armed with special weapons that the doctor had been working on for this kind of occassion, and now he just hoped that the coordinates they were following would lead them to the kids.

"Ready, Joanna?" he asked, then paused for a moment before saying, "Okay, let's go."
Brandon lit up his hands and 'distracted' the guards the only way he could think of, by injuring or killing them. He instantly felt satisfaction after the first guard screamed and fell dead, then went for the next one. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the other two run past the guards and out of sight, and was relieved. In the back of his mind he just wanted everyone to be okay. Taka. His parents. Even the Crusaders' parents. Brandon couldn't help the nagging frustration that taunted him for feeling so helpless and ignorant to do anything about that. He threw a random fireball down an empty hall, pausing for just a moment to see it erupt and engulf the walls that it hit.
"Wonder if this building will still be standing once we get done here?" he mumbled with a smirk as he took grabbed another guard with firey hands and flipped him over his back, causing the guard to land with a loud thud as he struggled out of Brandon's painful grasp.

"Doctor, are you sure these readings are correct?" a scientist asked as he cocked his head at the handheld computer he was looking at.
"About as right as we can get," Dr. Morgan replied without looking at the young man.
"But sir," he continued, "That would mean that one of the children have injested enough of the drug to knock out a horse, while the other has a diluted quanity in his system that could have different effects than we might anticipate."
"We'll cross those bridges when we come to them," Dr. Morgan explained, leading the way to a stairwell and up a few flights, "Our current objective is to find these powerful children and safely secure them. Just follow the plan as we have laid it out. If anything comes up, we'll need to use our imaginations and get the job done."
The doctor and his team arrived at the floor Brandon and the others were on. They spread out as they had planned and took a few moments to analize the childrenss movements and behaviors. Dr. Morgan was both excited and fascinated by what he witnessed. He couldn't wait to get these children into holding where he could talk to and analize them to see what made them different.
((If anyone wants to get shot or taken prisoner or whatever, feel free! Otherwise I'll just kind of keep writing off the cuff until someone comes up with a better plot twist. Speaking of which, whatever happened to Mr. Richards and his secretary???))
