  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yes, I believe I got it from a cat once, during my first pregnancy. I have gotten ringworm in the same place about 3 times now, and it happened right after I got pregnant again. (Don't know what the connection is, if any... but weird.)

I hate the blasted things.

lol, i've had that b4. i worked at a pet store, and all of us in the pet department, got ring worm.

its red scaley, circle thing. that iches like mad. or its a circle of small red blisters...

i had it on my arm, as my co-workers did.

its not an actua worm tho. i dunno why they call it ring worm. it creeped me out when i first heard about it.

u can get a cream at the doc...

be xtra cautious not to spread it. wash ur hands, dont share towels, etc.

its a pain in the butt, but at least its juust a rash, not actual worms. *shudders*

Yeah, it is somewhat circular. The flesh is darker, and the skin looks rougher. The edge of the circle usually has a raised ring of flesh (like a circular, hollow welt, if that makes sense), although it might not complete a whole circle.

Usually, applying an anti-fungal cream twice a day for 4 weeks will nip that thing in the bud. (I still hate the blasted things  ).
