Do any of you have engraved wedding rings & if so would you share what they say?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just kidding - actually there's some kind of almost microscopic engraving on the inside, and I can't make it out. I'm sure it has something to do with the purity of the gold, and quite possibly something about the jeweler.

I thought about having our wedding bands engraved, mine with his name, his with mine but then decided against it.

Ours don't say anything. The ring my brother gave to his girl says "always". I guess it's slightly overdone, but the sentiment is really sweet.
I love Mr. and Mrs. Redguard's idea. So sweet and personal. Love it. :thumsbup:
I always thought something like "My Babydoll" would have been the perfect sentiment from my hubby to me...it's not overly mushy, it's very, very personal to the two of us, and it's exactly something that my hubby would say to express his feelings for me. Still waiting for him to come up with the idea himself, though. I'll be waiting a while.

When my brother got married they got their rings engraved & they did not know what they said until the day they got married. And he will not tell anyone what they say. Have no idea why.

Not married, but (if we still are are agreeing on it, what i think we are) we wno't be having engraving on the ring.. Instead we'll engrave the finger it's on... NOt quite WE are going to get a tattoo under the ring that will say DD.MM.YY-BB.CC:VV. Going around the finger. D is the Day, M is the month, Y is the year. B is a bible book, C is the chapter, and VV is the verse... Not sure of what it will be yet, but maybe something like.. Song of Songs 8: 6 - 7
