  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm not that righteous so I try not to pretend that I have righteous anger. Most the so called "righteous anger" that I've seen appears more to be lack of self control and being swept away by the passions. They attach this episode to the idea that they are holier than thou to make it seem "holy" rather than a failing on their part. I have had "righteous anger" like that myself so I know it from both sides.

Righteous Anger
:confused:

I find Ezekiel 33:13 a rather fascinating verse.

NKJV) Ezekiel 33:13 "When I say to the righteous [that] he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered;
but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.

NKJV) Revelation 19:2 "For true andrighteous [are] His judgments,
because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication;
and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants [shed] by her."

anger has become the great taboo in the church, really kinda silly though.

The wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:20
Amen.
And where there is envy and strife .. THERE is every evil thing
Righteous anger is not the same as the wrath of man.
