Some of you may have heard of him. He has been featured on the Dr. Phil show and most recently 20/20 this evening.
He was the unofficial adopted son of the founder of The Children of God, or most recently named The Family.
Their practices were mainly focused on sexual pleasures with themselves and children. He was abused and molested his entire life. He was raised in this cult and knew nothing different.
Once on the outside world he was full of anger and as you can imagine, confusion. He wound up commiting a murder and killing himself.
My question you, do you believe that Ricky is in Heaven right now? He was raised this way and never knew the proper way to serve the Lord.
