Apparently this drama was a spin-off of The Rockford Files and lasted only a few episodes in the 70's. Theme composer Mike Post (who scored the music for both shows) called it the "funniest thing" he had ever heard of when the writer of the series described it to him. It was about a young guy who still lived with his parents and drove a Mustang, who wanted to be a private investigator. He often had to confront some pretty tough characters and ran away from many of them.

I've never seen it, but I would love to see the show now. Has anyone seen it? (Here's a pic from the show)
