Ryming for me has been a
long time
Since I was a child listening
to nursery rymes

I don't know what else to say
so I shall check in another time

iv'e been away for almost 3 weeks
and no one keeps up for me.... eeeeks

it's saturday now and very early
friday nite really for us who are silly

and stay up late just to post and post
just i can't help it, i think it's the most

relaxing and enjoyable time that i spend
in front of a computer at days end

posting with believers from around the world
it gives me a sense of His awesome word

tribute to the families of coal

my heart goes out to families of coal
where over the years mines claim soul after soul

the most recent tragedy at the sago mine
desperate prayers being lifted time after time

now we must grieve as the people ask why
so many men for the black rock die

it is a life that they live, a life that they lead
the men care for their families, the work they need

so day after day these brave miners go
into the dark, the cold with the glow

of a light on the hardhat that leads the way
to toil like most will never know, for a whole day

the men work hard and when the day is done
most don't know of the prayers sent to the son

for their safe return after a days hard work
from deep in the mines where danger does lurk

so families of coal your in my heart today
i speak from experience and this i will say

15 years in a hard rock mine i have done
i would not be alive if not prayers to the Son

were sent heavenward, so many times for me
10 years as a dragerman, (mine rescue you see)

i am not a stranger to the pain that you feel
as the tears roll down, it's ok men are not steel

you will overcome with the Lord at your side
so press on dear families of coal, and in the Lord abide

the thousandth rhyme
where'd we find time

there are some things we do
no matter what, no matter who

i do this just because i love it
so please, if don't sound right don't have a fit

a rhyme is pleasant to my ear
it somehow relieves the fear

and all of the stress of the day
and when it's all done i can say

i love the Lord with all my heart
from His presence i dare not depart

He cares and watches all the time
even when i make a silly rhyme.
