• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I recently read an article on a method to see what happens when we die. I can no longer find the article online, but the premise was to replace some ones heart with a artificial one, and slowly over time slow it down until the brain dies entirely. Then keep the blood moving with the artificial heart while the patient is still dead so that the brain won't become damaged. Then restart get the artificial heart beating again and electrocute the brain back into consciousness. Then the patient could tell everyone what happens when they die.
I'm not asking whether or not the machine would work, I'm just wondering what are peoples opinion if said machine would ever came into existence. Would Christians get to see heaven before being brought back? Would he learn what hell is like? If they exist at all?

I don't think this would work. I don't think you could revive the brain once you slow the blood flow enough for the brain to die. This is how people become brain damaged.

Like I said in the first post, I'M NOT ASKING WHETHER IT WOULD WORK OR NOT. Not flaming, just making a point. I just want peoples opinions on whether they would want to see what would happen after they die and be brought back to life.

There is nothing to see.
