  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you do one thing today, I would ask you to listen to this. It has blessed me in many ways, and has revealed some things about the Lord that I have never seen before. Please, Please, if you seek to be stirred by the Holy Ghost and get RAISED UP in spirit, take 30 minutes and listen to this Revival Inspirational. You will not regret it, I promise you that.

May God Bless our ears and hearts with this.

Comments welcome. (I know there must be some coming, this will shake and ignite your very soul!)

BTW, it may take a few attempts to get it to load properly on some computers (the address above should work first try, but it is the next link on the loading page which may take a few tries). I don't know why, but for some reason it may take 6 or 7 tries before it'll work.

I don't need to gather with a hundred people, jump around with my hands in the air, pray in tongues or dance around with snakes to get Gods attention. Jesus went off alone and prayed to god under a fig tree. If Christians follow Christ, it stands to reason that they should take a lesson here and keep their relationship with god personal. There is no indication from Jesus that charismatic praying is what God wanted. In fact, it has more in common with cult like practices than religion. If one needs to dance around and get all tranced up to affirm their relationship with God to themselves and everyone else, then perhaps their own faith is not strong enough.

This is not just my opinion. I was forced to belong to a charismatic Christian cult for many years until I was of age and could willfully leave. As a child I was able to recognize that this fanaticism was the wrong way. I experienced first hand the dangers of this practice.
