Kry also greeted the girl while holding back the ferocious demon. "Hello, I'm Kry. I see that you've already met Ameira."

"You made short work of him Kry" Ameira said commenting on the demon.

Kry only nodded and smiled but when she turned back to the demon he was gone, just like that. Kry glanced around the scene scanning for signs of the demon.

Suddenly the demon reappeared behind May. Kry raced toward him but he vanished once more. "It's not safe here," Kry whispered, "we'll never know what the demon's next move will be."

 

[Firefall]

The demon licked its wounds not far off from the two humans and the angel. Hatred darker than black itself spawned in the creatures twisted heart. How it hated the light from its former kindred, the angel. But he had to feed. Its insatiable lust for blood was more than it could contain. The demon had not tasted a soul for ages and desperation drove it to make desperate attacks.

With a swirl of void smoke, it appeared directly behind the angel and with a powerful swipe of its taloned hands, knocked the holy being onto the craggy ground. It swiftly dug its claws into the angels back piercing her spiritual flesh and pinning her there while hungrily eyeing the two girls.

Kry immediatly lunged toward the demon but held herself back, she now saw how powerful he really was and realized that he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Now she knew how dangerous the Valley was, there could be things much worse than this.

She wanted to run far, far away and abandon this mission but she could not leave her faithful friend. What should she do? Kry just stood there dazed and hurting while watching the creature make life a living hell for Ameira.

The demon suddenly vanished once again, leaving Ameira sprawled out on the floor, and appeared behind Kry. Kry turned around just in time to see him leap at her and Kry, while trembling, held her blade level to the demon's chest.

Seeing the bright blade before him, the demon turned to his side, trying to avoid it and slammed into Kry, sending her spinning at May. Growling, the demon picked himself off the floor and held his bleeding side that Niv (her sword) had scathed.

Kry landed on May with a great impact. Fighting the demon was of no use. It was too powerful.

While Kry was shaking stars out of her eyes the demon vanished and reappeared behind the two dazed girls. He crept up to them quietly and bared his sharp fangs. Quickly and deftly he swiped the two of them into his ghostly hands and carried them deeper into the cavern until they were engulfed in complete darkness.

Kry and May were buried in complete darkness inside the demon's hands and a sharp claw was digging into Kry's back while May was being compressed under the weight of Kry and the massive hands.

An unbearable urge to devour the two girls whole prodded and poked the demon's stomach but he held himself back, he knew that if he did not share with his mother, she would surely disown and maul her only son.

Kry had almost fallen asleep with a claw in her back when a very low and deep growl emerged deep inside the pitch dark air. It was so powerful and evil that May and Kry felt vibrations travelling through their bodies and Kry could even smell the darkness.

((Let's see... the demon carried away the two girls into his lair and his mother dwells there as well so you could go after the demon or something like that))

The demon's mother was twice as huge as her son and many times more agressive, not many would even have the guts to look into her twisted and dark face. Her son was like a smaller version of her, a much smaller version.

Kry squinched her eyes and tried to make out the figure of the demon's mother once he had opened his large hands and revealed the two girls to his mother. It was too dark however and all she could make out was two large beady eyes that looked like death themself closely examining her.

The mother demon pulled back from them then emitted a demonic laugh that gave May a headache. The younger demon raised a questioning eyebrow then proceeded to hungrily feast on his captives when his greedy mother took the two from his hand in one swift motion, turned away from her son, and while grinning, picked up May and dangled her in front of her mouth.

May tried very hard to be silent, but seeing the sight of the demon's flaming eyes only discouraged her. May opened her mouth to scream . Not one little squeak came out, only silence was there. She couldn't talk at all. Her mind was becoming blank.

May looked at Kry, fear was in her eyes. Is there hope? She asked herself.
