Has anyone watched this show? If you have, what are your thoughts on it?

Yes, my husband and I have been watching it. To me, it is entertaining, but not accurate biblically at all. Some of the things in it are so bizzare that they are unbelieveable. What did you think about it?

I totally agree. I find it interesting, but there are too many errors in it to mean anything more. Some things really have me rolling my eyes. At best I pray it gets people thinking, and hopefully they will search and find Christ.

I actually have been loving it. Although some of the religious aspects may be inaccurate, it is meant to grab a large audience and I think it does so in a wonderful way. The cast has been highly enjoyable as well as the plots-- each episode seems to have me dying to see the next. Do you all think you will continue watching for the sake of entertainment?

I have been enjoying the series, and yes, I am always dying to see what happens next. Good entertainment value...and if it gets people thinking about Christ more...thats good too.

My family is angry with that show because of the inaccurate things in it. As for me, that part doesn't bother me because I know it is entertainment, but when I tried watching an episode, I found myself getting bored.

I watched just one...Didn't get me hooked out anything so...I didn't watch it again.

I am enjoying it, but yes, it is primarily fictional...

Maybe it could be considered Christian or religious sci-fi?

However, i am finding it alittle cheesey and over acted.. but i must add i often pick preformances and direction apart lol

OK, so the whole "beast" in the womb...that is pretty bizzare. The show is taking more of a religious Sci-Fi type of twist. But to be honest, I think it is intersting just the same. I was hoping they were going away from the whole "Christ being born as a child" gimmic, but they seem to be going back to it. I'll keep on watching still.

I love it! I understand not everything is Biblicaly correct, but it's good entertainment! I can't wait for the next episode!

Can everyone explain to me what happened in the last two episodes? I completely missed the second to last because the insane Satanist freaked me out towards the beginning, and last night I watched American Idol for the first 30 minutes. Did I miss anything super important?

BTW, NBC announced its fall line-up, and Revelations has been cancelled along with the Contender and American Dreams.

I am bumping this thread since someone started another one -- but this one had been so active before. Also-- Revelations hasn't necessarily been "cancelled" per say, rather they have not decided yet if they are bringing it back or not.
