Revelations chapter 3 v 7

One day or night I was sleeping and right before I woke up I heard a voice say Read Revelations ch 3 vs 7. I woke up and went straight to the Bible. It landed on the church of Philadelphia.

I said Lord surely you don't see this in me. I am still humbled and at awe of how in landed perfectly on that. No way it was a coincidence.


Praise You Righteous Father and thank You Lord Jesus. Let Your will be done.

I know not much of a testimony but made me feel good.

Yes, it can make one feel good. Philadelphia means "brotherly love", and in Rev. 2 & 3 God speaks of the seven churches which together all have a testimony which projects what Christian history will show. Each assembly there speaks of conditions that have been already experienced up to Laodicea, which describes church condition in this present age. It is all an interesting study, and I have a paper on that if you should be interested in the study. Look up always!

It's kinda funny how it landed straight on the church of Philadelphia. Now I was in a ver backslidden state when I heard this.
