  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I didn't, but our first reuion was a "six year reunion", which was kind of strange. Some friends went, and said everybody was the same. We didn't have a 10 year reunion, so I obviously didn't make it to that one. If we have a 20 or 25 year reunion, I might be up for that.

I skipped the 10th. I wanted to go to our 20th, but we couldn't afford a cross country trip. After talking to some om my friends back home, i'm kind of glad I missed it. Apparantly a lot of folks haven't changed at all and it was one big drunk-fest of a party. On the other hand, I sure missed seeing some folks that I haven't gotten to see in a while.

If they have a 25th, i'll go.

Our small class of 15 students had a 5 year and a 15 year. I skipped the 5 year as I was dealing with some personal issues and had no desire to do anything that made me think of the past. But by the 15th year I was over it and went. There were 9 of us out of the 15, and we had a great time!

It was interesting. My husband and I were the biggest party people in high school...it was a lil' too shocking for some of them to discover that he's an Associate Pastor now. It was okay, but it just seemed that everyone was still the same. The girls were still beautiful with BIG hair but most of the guys were bald. =0

Ever been to a place where you are the only ones not dancing on top of a table wasted? Yea, it had it's uncomfortable moments. That was the 10 year reunion, we haven't been to another one since.

Went to my 10 year re-union in 2000. It was interesting. I was curious to see how everyone had changed and supremely happy about the success some had already achieved (one was a resident neuro-surgeon!). There were a select few individuals I was pleased to see. Overall, I'd say it was not so much fun, and I don't care to repeat it.

Those days are over and done with. High school meant little to me except as a time of growth and stepping stone to move on in life. I seriously doubt I'll go to my 20 year (2010).

Ok, How many of you went to your first High school reunion? Was it what you expected? Was it fun or was it a joke? Will you go back?

Went to my 10-year HS reunion, we didn't have a 5-year. It was a total blast, we had a good turnout and everyone seemed to have a good time. It was kinda what I expected, more fun, actually. I'll definitely go to the next one.

I did go to my 10 yr reunion & it was kinda silly. It was sad too because 2 of my best friends had died after we graduated & I was thinking about them.
That's the reason I don't go to any of my class reunions. It would be too painful.

Yeah, Ben and I left mine when the dancing and drinking started. What I thought was great was that the following day there was a picnic. We all brought our children. Now that was great!

Good for you my friend that you all did leave before the dancing and drinking got out of hand!
