  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God's curses or restrictions are wearing off.

1) Man no longer has to till the ground.

Here is where it begins. The industrial revolution which has allowed us to accomplish a massive amount of work on auto-pilot via factories and machines. This grows into the computer age where everything is super convenient. Many no longer need to hunt or grow their food. This hasn't been completely undone of course. While we have yet to make an actual race of robots, we have surely moved beyond ordinary man.

2) The woman's desire is no longer to her husband.

Equality with a feminist agenda, leading many into bisexual relationships, and causing many men to do the same. The lord tells us of the rapture "there will be two men in a bed, one will be taken." His mercy is deep. The Islamic world is probably the last obstacle for this agenda.

3) The serpent has once again become the dragon.

The dragon is a symbol of strength, subtlety, knowledge, and power. We are told to be wise as serpents, yet harmless as doves. With the internet language barriers are broken, east is meeting west, science is doubling every two years, and amount of deception has also increased. However, the fully grown dragon will seek to rule us and dominate us.

4) The enmity between the serpents and women has been done away with.

Witchcraft has become very popular. Along with equal rights, which is not terrible in and of itself, the dragon has snatched them away from us. While many believe in aliens, we Christians know they are more likely to be demons. In either case, they would like nothing better then to kill our men and take our women, as well as crush the freedom of the masculine spirit. Naturalism has always been the enemy of God, for God is beyond the natural world.

5) Many are rejecting the knowledge to discern good from evil, believing they are perfect

With variety of intelligence, comes variety of experience. The intellectual will find sin as edifying and enlightening as good, if not more so. Morality goes out the window. It is followed up with clever deceptions like those who think Jesus was the serpent because he said "have I not said ye are as Gods." The lord has given them a strong delusion. We on the other hand accept we are imperfect sinners that are saved by the grace of Jesus alone.

6) Death is being undone.

"In those days shall men seek death and not find it." There is now an abundance of holy spirit filled miracles happening in the world. In the east there is an actual science of immortality. These are partly the results of those who seek immortality the wrong way, and they are perhaps birth pangs of the kingdom to come.

7) God shall return and walk among us

He shall come with his angels, with his saints, and his reapers shall end the harvest and divide the wheat from the tares. You see God's curses onto us in Eden were to prolong this age as much as possible, slowly evolving out of those ways. Now that they are being undone, he needs to come back to rescue his faithful and burn those who have forced his hand. The real return to Paradise is by the grace of Jesus alone, and through baptism of water. For God promises not to destroy us again with water.

I stand for the weak, who for one reason or another have had to live in despair.
I stand for the poor, and for every person who is struggling to find peace.
I stand for the seekers, and pray the diligent ones find Jesus
I stand for the dreamers, who dream of worlds that are far less sinful then this one
I stand for the family, for without loved ones we are weak

Alas, I cannot stand for myself, for having lost my loved ones I am too weak to stand. Thankfully there is one who stands for those who are loving, but cannot stand.

He is our lord and savior, who took a stand for each and every one of us.
We, therefore, shall stand for him, and deny the merits of life without him.

Habakkuk 1:8 "Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therin."

May the lord exalt these victims, even if they be spoiled with sins to repent for, for he is wise and just and merciful in all his dealings. May he instead spoil and punish those who sin openly against his children.

Habakkuk 1:14 "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the lord, as the waters cover the sea."

Blessed be the lord, who even stands for those seeking and dreaming, that we may learn of his glory and exalt him.

The stand is that we are to believe and walk the walk that God gave us. The end is to be in the new creation with God and return to what was once created perfect. The original Eden was perfect but we ruined it. The new Eden will not allow us the original choice because to get to the new Eden we have already made our choice.

Amos, I think is happening or has happened. It comes before Habakkuk, where we see the dreaded one who gathers upon himself all nations. This I think might be during or beginning the tribulation, but I'm nowhere near knowing enough to say.

We see a lot of God's wrath in the middle east in this book, but I did not delight in it, as perhaps you thought I would on behalf of those for which I stand. When I read about his wrath I picture God speaking with an angry voice and I, for knowing how loving he is, lament that it has come to this.

My sense of revenge is hotheaded and quick, but these are the desecrations of a lifetime. My thoughts on using the spoiled to spoil the spoilers were upon God's mercy, that he may yet delight in those who have been spoiled. I suppose it's odd that I should see his mercy hidden within his wrath.

The stand is that we are to believe and walk the walk that God gave us. The end is to be in the new creation with God and return to what was once created perfect. The original Eden was perfect but we ruined it. The new Eden will not allow us the original choice because to get to the new Eden we have already made our choice.
Well spoken. For what is a past of meager sins, that can be washed away by Christ, compared to an eternal future wherein we are perfected in him? That his new paradise may contain none that defile.

Hadn't thought of this way before. Very cool on the note with the curse of the ground. Even if we can limit our labors from it through technology, we will never limit our dependence on it and what it produces.

Friend, once God has done away with the evil ones and finally come back to walk among us, we not only won't need to depend on the ground, we won't even need the sun, which is good as it will be darkened. God's light will be as everything to us, though he will probably bless the ground anyway.

I believe right now to be part of the time where God's spirit is being poured out upon us in the last days. During this, the time of the revealing, everyone will know of God in one way or another and make their final choices, establishing which side they are on. Of course, once the ranks are clear, the battle begins.

Except that for us it would merely be a slaughter, but the lord will rapture us. Don't be surprised if we're to undergo some sort of divine training during those years of tribulation, while we are raptured. That's my hope anyway, when Christ comes with over 10,000 of his saints, he means business.
