Unfornately Mach, your terms of what victory is quite clouded by the reality of events on the ground. Ideology is nice, but reality should be the first and foremost consideration when assessing a situation or event. Something you, the rest of the 24 percenters, and the remaining 6 people in Bush's own staff seem to just ignore.

Again - the rights in the constitution are NOT earned.

You may have served/fought for those ideals. But those actions did not EARN you the rights. They are there and afforded to all and not awarded based upon earning or not earning.

Unless the men in charge decide that this is a real war, and enact a draft that will sign up their own children, as well other people's children,whom they are now sending for third and fourth tours.

However, every American citizen has their rights - not through earning - but by virtue of being a citizen.

You may have earned respect, admiration, credibility etc in military service - but, sir, you did not, nor could you ever EARN the rights afforded in the constitution.
