Before I continue, I want to apologize if the subject of resurrection offends anyone here. I don't want to make this an argument about the actual possibility of resurrection, and from this point forward this thread will be working from a hypothetical situation where resurrection is possible.

Now, the first question is that if you could resurrect any being-whether a pet, friend, loved one, etc.-would you do it? The second question is directed more towards those who say "no" to the first question, but all input is appreciated. If someone of importance to you was resurrected without your knowledge and they came to you, what would you do?

Why would anyone want to be resurrected if they have a taste of heaven(an image of purity)? Why not be your own treasure in heaven?
To be a spirit-untied from the living flesh is my dream. Able to assume my form as a spirit would (god-willing) upon the earth as the virgin mary did in fatima. To have that kind of a gift; where the spirit can take form in the physical world to everyones' presence. And to work miracles--that is why I work hard at understanding the concept of god--to be rewarded a hundred-fold; and to ever-lasting life.
If someone I knew-that died-came back to life; and then came to me: I wouldn't be surprised one bit. Because I hold the testimony of an angel that glided over the sky in my presense; and emanated a light into my mind's eye; for the Glory of God-Almighty is in the presence of the angels; and not in gold nor silver nor precious jewels nor earthly treasures. The Glory of God is the angels in heaven, working miracles all around us--you just don't see them--to the un-trained eye.
An angel is a magnificant site. Holy! Holy! Holy! are the angels almighty.
Beauty is their virtue--awe-shocking beauty.
Just as life is supposed to be beautiful; and in some ways it is, however, all I see is decay of beauty all around me. The familiar-sameness of everyday life.
The holy see::The whole sea.
John: 4
"48": Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
I have seen with my own two eyes--wonders and signs. Bird of pray.
How come when we speak to god its called prayer. But when god speaks to us it is called schizophrenia?--thats a quote from someone. I don't remember who.
For my life, I give up--to be branded schizophrenic.
I call it a gift of the mind.

Assuming the movie Pet Semetary is not relevant, I suppose I might do this. Though I might want some indication of a desire for resurrection from the patient beforehand.

Hug them. Or assemble a zombie-hunting party. Whichever is more appropriate.
