Blessed Morning to You!

I've had a real problem sleeping lately. No schedule at all. Sleep two hours, up five... uggghhh! On the advice of a friend, I took the opportunity to try and completely de-escalate yesterday so I might just be calm and still in the Lord. I was in bed by 10:30 and received a straight 7 hours of peaceful, uninterrupted sleep! I now have the energy to take on the day ahead with vigor and hope in God's glory. I pray the same for each of you in the name of Christ. Amen

Your prayer is appreciated (as I write this at 3am)!

I recall a particular instance, when I had too much to do for too little daylight, and I was paranoid about sleeping past my alarms, that I actually asked God to withhold my sleep to make sure I would never be late. You can imagine this request was ill-advised.

But these small experiences teach us to give thanks for all the times that God does not do exactly what we want.

May your vigor carry you forward in His will!
