I rest my soul upon the mercy of the Lord.
His mercy is an everlasting shield.

But the Lord is the Shepherd and Bishop of my soul.

When people look upon me, they ought to immediately look upon Christ, and say "This man would be nothing if it weren't for the exceeding grace and mercy of the Lord."
