I usually post most of my topics to provoke some thought and discussion, not necessarily to 'edify'. Every post does not have to be a morning devotional. There have also been times when I have started threads on things that were not church related.

Take for example my thread on saying some things nice about our spouses. We all know what a landslide response THAT got.

The point is, I am not always wanting to deal with issues that face the church.

thought provoking is edifying.... as are devotionals... both are needed as well as a few other things...
