I will keep on praying for you but remember that there is three ways to overcome this - first by choice, you choose not even to meditate on these temptations; secondly let your flesh die by the renewing of your mind with the word of God. Thirdly if you still cannot overcome do spiritual warfare by clothing yourself with the armor of God AND STAND.
I wrote this a few years ago and maybe this will help you too.
A temptation is the inner pulling towards sin. Temptations are coming though our senses most of the time. We see and we desire. We hear and we want to follow the wrong way. We taste the fruit of adultery and we want to indulge in it. We smell the pig stiles and we want to roll in the mud. We feel the power of money and then we want to bow before it.
I am concerned about Christians that will be confused these two and blame God for temptations in their lives. Scripture is very clear that God does TEST or put his people through trials (Gen. 22:1). But, this scripture positively declare that God never tempts His people
James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
God never entices people to SIN or desires that they fall into all kinds of inequities. Believers must never excuse their sin by blaming God for the temptation. God has mad a plan for us to get free from sin by sending His Son to Calvary. Whatever the temptation, God commands Christians to REJOICE
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
How is this possible? By recognizing that God can use these temptations to produce, Christians who are MATURE and COMPLETE
1 Corinthians 10:13a There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not SUFFER YOU to be TEMPTED ABOVE THAT YE ARE ABLE; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
YES, God is faithful and with every temptation that comes to our side, we can know that its not ABOVE us. We CAN HANDLE IT. Its good to know but God did not stop here He even gives us more
1 Corinthians 10:13b but will with the temptation also MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE, that ye may be able to bear it.
God is so good to us. YES, there is a way to escape temptations to enable us to overcome Satan and to live a life in the fullness that God has created us for.
Christ was made a curse for us, He died a cursed death.
Did thorns come in with sin? He was CROWNED WITH THORNS for us.
Did sweat come in with sin? He SWEAT FOR US, as it had been GREAT DROPS OF BLOOD.
Did sorrow come in with sin? He was a MAN OF SORROWS; His soul was, in His agony, exceeding sorrowful.
Did death come in with sin? He BECOMES OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH. This is the greatest gift ever given to a sick and needy world.
Blessed be God for his Son our Lord Jesus Christ.
