Okay, okay, i know for all of you who have never heard of this series is thinking hmmm evil eh...well it's not so evil....well actually if you think about it it is pretty evil. But when you're killing things it's all zombies and horrible mutations, so it's nothing too horrible. If there are any other fans out there let me know, we could discuss it. If i could spell discuss it would be cool too.

I played the first one on PC and it was ok but I hated the camera/controls. I tried Outbreak on PS2 and again, hated the camera/controls. I'm really looking forward to playing RE4, though since it looks to have a good camera/control scheme.

Hi undying and welcome to CF I'm a big RE fan althought I didn't care for # 4 though. Although to be fair it has more to do with them taking my favorite game franchise in a very different direction than the game itself.

And also, welcome! Don't worry too much about people telling you the games you like are evil. There are a few that will, but there are plenty of us that will defend you as well. It's fun here. RE4 was one of the best games ever.

I know some people complain about the zombies being evil....but they don't know jack about the game. There's a reason it's called Biohazard in Japan...because it's about a biological weapon!!

RE 4 is generally seen as being one of the best games ever made, at least in the top 10, and I'll probably pick up a PS 2 on the cheap someday and play it.

I have played most of the games on the PS1 and 2 working my way through the first outbreak. I like the fact that you can play the games from a different perspective each time but the basic story remains the same. Plus all the extra stuff like diaries and notes made by various non player characters you may or may not meet. Adds a new dimension to the game and makes it more interesting.

To echo what most have said here, RE4 has got to be one of the best video games ever. I keep hoping they're going to do RE5 justice after raising our expectations so drastically, especially since it seems that they are switching to zombies again (but of course).

I have Resident Evil: DS too, and while it's nowhere near the level of fun/quality RE4 is, it's still pretty enjoyable.

I'm a HUGE fan of RE! I've got the Remake for the Gamecube, and RE4 on the PS2. I'm gonna get the 2nd one for the Gamecube soon...awesome game series!
