I'm wondering whether people are ok with my Critical views?

I personally think that Critical views are good in a way, it brings up discussion and pulls up more thinking and work towards the truth or at least a new opinion.

I know there are people that don't agree with my critical views, because all they want is everyone agreeing with them, without respect to those that have difference in opinion.

But I know there are some people who can't critisms, which is fine...just let me know if I'm going too far into it that it hurts your personal feelings.

I rather like your attitude at times Jim. Sometimes though, you could hurt a few feelings.
None of us have exactly the same personality, nor attitudes. But, I will say that perhaps, sometimes, you can come on a little bit strong for the weaker hearted. But I note that they come back with a defensive attitude...then I think...uhoh...what's Jim said this time?
Maybe sometimes Jim...it's nice to know that a gentle word turns away wrath. And, I feel we should all be aware of that. Not just you Jim...all of us.
We can all give an opinion...it's just the way we do it that matters.

Mate i'm fine with it.

If only you could receive criticism like you give it.
how so?

If I'm going against Hillsong, then you shouldn't be aiming at the Anglican church, rather you should aim it against Evangelicals. That's my advice for now...

I can't debate until after July 2nd, because I have exams. If I overload Biblical arguments in my head before then, I'd be in deep .... in terms of my academics.

yep, & esp when u start throwing out names like idiot to people. not nice. :(
If you took a look at my responses of when I called art of war and idiot, did you take a look at what he was saying?

I'm still hurt by what both Padey and Art-of-war and their intolerance to groups by placing comments that can an enormous effect.

In terms of Uniting church, I'm talking with a couple of people who's uniting church did not follow the mainflow of movement.

Their ignorance and arrogrance is clearly intolerable, and I'm surprised you didn't pick that up, just as much as most people...because they only focus on the basic layer of the problem.

Its like telling a person who is depressed to get over it, as opposed to looking deeper, and giving them comfort for the incident that triggered their depression.

I wish I could have avoided that term, and I still regret using the word "idiot"...but I had no choice but to voice my anger over the intolerance of their ignorant and arrogant opinion towards the general people in public.

Their intolerance over groups that are a minority, is damaging to the Christian faith that grace goes to all people. It's exactly how some groups whether different races to cultures get treated, because of the lack of understanding and respect based on ignorant behaviour of some people that make up ludicrus garbage into some truth for people to believe and hate others for it....

seriously mate it looks like you have a split personality at one time you want to know if your offending people and are too critical on peoples views then when someone answers your question you then get defensive again? so what is it you really want to know?

Mate, theres somethings I can't stand,
I can't stand racism, sexism or any sorts of intolerance...that is something that isn't critism against me, that is more along the case of being more of an idiot.

If you hate gay people why don't you go out to KingsCross and tell people how Jesus hates gay people and tell them to just drop being gay, get married and live a life with God....

This has nothing to do with me, it has everything to do with people that bring a bad name to God, which is untrue.

who else?

This is about me being critical about issues and looking deep into it....it's not about intolerance of minority groups.

If you have something to say to the minority groups, say it on your own personal behalf rather than bring the whole church down.

Again, your intolerance is not my problem, it's yours and I as well as everyone else has a problem with it!

oh by the way in relation to your rather random thread in regards to homo sexuals
From the Assembly of God website

What is the Assemblies of God’s position on homosexual relationships?

The Assemblies of God believes strongly that God has declared great displeasure and opposition toward homosexual conduct. However, He yearns to restore and forgive all who come to Him, including homosexuals. Unfortunately, many today mislabel those who speak out against the sin of homosexuality as hate-mongers and prejudiced people seeking to oppress and take away the rights of homosexuals. But these persons view homosexuality from a skewed social perspective devoid of true biblical morality. The Church, however, is called to be faithful to God’s Word in all things. For this reason the Assemblies of God opposes homosexuality and the gay lifestyle recognizing such as sin. But we encourage all members to reach out in love to homosexuals extending to them the grace that leads us all to Christ’s forgiveness.

I cannot believe how defensive you get especially when YOU ask the questions then you get an answer you dont like then goto pieces, its not worth speaking to you unless you start making sense or at the very least handle a bit of criticism
OK. Time to back off these remarks now. Let's just take a break and ease it off a bit huh?

you guys need time out. Stop assuming what people think if you've only seen one post on the topic! I can dig out some examples if you wanted!

BTW, this reminds me of something funny off another thread (sit down and talk!):
http://www.christianforums.com/t705479&page=2
http://www.theatlantic.com/issues/2003/03/rauch.htm (i'll just quote the article)

Extroverts therefore dominate public life. This is a pity. If we introverts ran the world, it would no doubt be a calmer, saner, more peaceful sort of place. As Coolidge is supposed to have said, "Don't you know that four fifths of all our troubles in this life would disappear if we would just sit down and keep still?" (He is also supposed to have said, "If you don't say anything, you won't be called on to repeat it." The only thing a true introvert dislikes more than talking about himself is repeating himself.)
