Request for prayer.

Hello dear bro's and sisters.

I know this might sounds selfish but I was hoping you would pray with me for my younger brother. I got a call this morning from my mom and she told me that my brother was arrested when him and his friends tried to rob at gun point. Now, my brother knows nothing about guns, never tried to rob anybody befoer or anything like that. He is losing track and focus and I fear for him.

Many people, including me, have talked to him but there's still no positive response from him. I have prayed over and over for him and still there's no much change. I know only God can change his situation and still believe in prayer. Please pray with me. My brother's name is Loyiso Fihla, in South Africa. Please also pray that the Lord bring salvation in his life.

Your prayer will be highly appreciated.

I did not find ONE selfish word in that whole prayer. Dear lovechild05. I lift your brother, Loyiso Fihla, in fervent prayer before our Lord's throne of grace and mercy in Jesus' MIGHTY name. I pray He part the sea and still the storms inside your brother's heart that are turning him to run with people who are taking him down these scarey and self destructive paths. I bind violence, death, insecurity, fear, rebellion, pride and anger in Jesus' all powerful name, for His glory. May He be manifest in Your brother's days in very personal and blessed ways that your Loyiso Fihla may see, hear, know and want to understand more and more. May Jesus draw Loyiso Fihla into His presence, stir him to want more of Jesus, break the fascination and false security of guns and power and the might of men, and turn. May he bring your brother home a new man, hungry for peace, truth and compassion, no matter how long it takes. May his life be spared the road of destruction and the ignorance of the proud.
