CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm going to keep him as our target for one more day - lets see if we can get him that star.I want to thank Lilmissmontana for nominating Quietbloke as our target. I got him 4 times before I ran out. He's seems like a really nice guy and devout Christian from reading some of his posts. Good choice for a rep avalanche!

I just came from repping quietbloke and am just floored! His rep is at 907,683. All the way from 59,000 a couple days ago. I had surgery Friday morning so wasn't here to be much help since (and don't have that kind of repping power, either). He's so close to a star! A couple good hits from some real rep power would give him that star. HINT HINT!!!
