As it stands now, 86.15% want open reports. I would love to see that go over 90%. Maybe that would change Lee's mind. Maybe.

I just recently started reading the reports. There was so much pettiness and immaturity...If we would learn to die to our flesh and esteem each other the reports would be very minimal..Sadly the immaturity was in mods and the regular joes..We will always have tares mixed with the wheat till Jesus comes...Just be aware of the sheep that are dressed like wolves ..Try to ignore them and let them get to you..

Make your case... present biblical truth, follow the rules and protocol and let's see what he wants this site to be. And if the result is not something you want to live with... migrate.

Four years (for me) of Erwin's style makes it hard to shift. But shift is needed.

I agree Steve. And honestly, I would much rather have the new system becuz this one creates pure STRIFE and contention.
I say let the man make all his changes & then see how it goes.

A note: we have been used to a 'war' atmosophere here for awhile now, so we also need to try to start to shed our "WAR/SURVIVALIST" mentality that has been acquired thru Erwin's vision.

It's put us into FIGHT & PROTECTION MODE as if we're the hunted..... on our own turf!!

We fight and contend earnestly for the faith - but God calls us to do it HIS WAY, not ours (which I'm more inclined to grab me some ammo and hold my ground lol).
one verse I hold close to me is this:

"be wise as serpents and innocent as doves".

God has laid this on my heart and I fully intend on enjoying this section (or whatever other section I may have to move on to) and standing for Christ my Lord and IN Christ.

When the highest traffic for fora and thread is generated on issues dealing wiht the personality of moderators, or foru.ms politics, or who said what about whom, then I would say that the new openness has about run its course.

It's not that all the gossip isn't interesting.

But it is gossip.

IIDB have had their say into making foru.ms into their gossipy image. I personally would be happy to see the day when this, too, will pass.

Amen, i can stand anywhere, i preferred here, but if we cant share a conservative opinion, if this isnt one change made, call me a fundy and a patriot. As Peter said, you judge which is right, who should we obey, God or man? In a conservative home forum, members should be allowed to follow Christ according to their hearts and state their opinion.
