It's all about the church, once jews get saved by grace, like how jewish paul was, they are welcome in the church, the body of christ, there is one body.

Through the church, the jewish and gentile church was already in action here...

Eph 3:10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

That is the whole point of eph 3, all one in the Abrahamic gospel, one gospel, one body, it talks of promise and heirs here, the gospel.

eph 3;6 This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

But he also calls gentiles the elect in Rom 11:7, and Col 3:12, and he also shows the Jews that they have to leard about coming in by faith in Rom 9:30 they way of the gentiles, and they too can learn something esle, here is an equalizing verse against jewish pride also, no one can boast, see rom 3:27.

11:31 so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now[e] receive mercy. 32 For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

Same as here, no partiality.

Rom 2:11 For God shows no partiality.

eph 2, and 1 Peter 2, as we all know, are similar, and both speak of the Spiritual temple now, and in thier day being built, it is all about the gosepl of grace peter spoke of in 1 Peter 1:10-12.

so really, the "evil" replacement people are peter and paul, who sought one new man, one household.

The branches of the tree are believing Jews and Gentiles.

That makes the trunk of the tree Jesus Christ, in whom the branches abide.

The holy roots of the tree are the patriarchs, from whom Christ, the trunk, sprang.

The whole tree is the body of Christ, the Church of believing Jews and Gentiles, the one people of God.

I think we have common ground. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the Messiah, the Jewish Rabbi we all serve, the Man Christ Jesus.

'Replacement' thinking is problematic because it treats the ethnic people of Israel as if God did not have a special plan for their nation, when Paul says, "All Israel shall be saved" in a context where he is dealing with the natural branches.

According to scripture, God has made a covenant with the nation of Israel.

If you have an unbelieving Jew and an unbelieving Irishman. The unbelieving Jew is a part of a nation for which God has made a covenant. What covenant has God made with the Irish? What covenant does any other nation have apart from Christ? None.

Part of God's commandments to Israel is that they hear His Prophet. That is an issue. But there are also prophecies about restoring Israel from its disobedience.

When Israel was disobedient before the Messiah came and died on the cross and rose again, God still kept His end of the covenant with Israel. After Christ dies, He still honors it. Through Israel's disobedience, Gentiles are being allowed in as fellow-heirs. The day will come when the partial blindness will be removed from Israel and the nation shall be saved.

There is a special plan for Israel, Abraham's seed according to the flesh.

When they rejected the Messiah they ceased to be God's special people, set apart for his purpose. They removed themselves. Everything God promised to Israel is applied to Jesus Christ, the true seed of Israel and heir of the Promise. And since the Church is in Christ, it all applies to us.

Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.

The Old Testament Church is the New Testament Israel and vice versa. It's really quite plainly laid out in scripture.

And then he tells the mystery that blindness, in part, is happen to Israel UNTIL the full number of Gentiles be come in...and so all Israel shall be saved. Then he says they are enemies for your sakes but beloved for the sakes of the fathers.
