CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

- step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over our rep addiction - that our cyber lives had become unmanageable
- step 2 - Came to believe that Rep Daddy could restore us to sanity
- step 3 - Made a decision to turn our pride into sheer idiocy
- step 4 - Made an inventory of how we could get more reps
- step 5 - Admitted to Gazelle how jealous we are of her stars
- step 6 - Were entirely ready to do anything to get more reps
- step 7 - Boldly asked strangers to rep us
- step 8 - Made a list of all persons we had not asked, and asked them all
- step 9 - Made direct pay back reps to such people wherever possible
- step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were out of reps promptly admitted it
- step 11 - Sought through begging to improve our rep power and increase our stars
- step 12 - Having had the first million reps as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other rep addicts, and to encourage repping in all CF forums
