I wish I could pay someone (in blessings?) to fix my avatar. I'm such a doofus when it comes to those kinds of things and I lose my patience quickly.
I'm with you on that one.

Hi everybody!

Good morning, RD. Thank you for this post. I have been feeling very discouraged here the past couple of days. I think my main frustration stems from the fact that I keep getting headaches after being here for more than a few minutes. Its makes it hard to visit threads, read, and post.

Plus, I was sick for a couple of weeks and rarely logged on. Then last week I had to leave unexpectedly for a few days. My rep points haven't really changed in weeks. I miss all my new friends. I'm one of the repaholics for the month of May and the repping is all messed up. And just feel 'down'. I'll try be optimistic and patient though. :(

Yeah, me too. That's why I went with a simple character.

The character thing was soooo frustrating! Trying to see the tiny eyebrows and mouths. Then get them in the right place. Then, I was trying on clothes and hairstyles, but I couldn't figure out how to select something to remove it.

I don't think my character will be changing clothes or backgrounds for a very long time. I don't have the patience for it.

I do understand.

I think I will extend the Reppies for May through June to allow some time for this to stabilize... so you are a May-June Reppie!

I am always glad to see you around.

It's my nature to abhor change, but I will get used to this with time....I hope

Me to. I'm not enjoying my time here at all at the moment, but like to see everyone. I'm finding it slow, harder to get around and dare I say boring and not nice to look at :sorry:

Must have patience, must have patience, must have patience

Hi gang,

Just some thoughts. My first reaction in touring CF2 was bewilderment especially when trying to figure out the reps/thanks/blessings features. It was obvious that some real changes needed to be made or the existing Blessings Exchange and Repaholics SubForum would be obsolete.

But in exploring further it was obvious that on multiple fronts there were a myriad of adjustments needed throughout CF and it would be some time before they were all addressed. At that point I adopted my custom title: "Patience, RD ....." as a reminder to myself.

The lead programmer, nexia, is quite excellent and I am confident is making progress as rapidly as possible. The challenge is complicated by all of the features Erwin had patched into the software that do not automatically upgrade with a new version release and need to be addressed after any upgrade. Each upgrade changes the way some things are done so it is a daunting task.

MY ADVICE TO REPAHOLICS:

Patience. As the software is being upgrade let's focus some on fellowship. I think this is needed in our area anyway so this transition may push us a bit to lay off reps as the primary fixation (RD trembles to write that) and get to know each other.

I do know that upper mgmt are aware of the features we requested and hopefully in time they will be able to implement them. This SubForum has become a vital part of CF and a real source of encouragement. I am hopeful this can resume in the CF2 environment.

RD
I agree RD, it is hard to be patient though.

HELP! How do you bless someone? I think it is called "donate" now bt I see no place to "donate" or "bless". it's driving me crazy. Thanks and if you have a working "u" key for a gateway laptop, I need one. ;)

Look next to the person's blessings count in their post. You should see "donate" there.

Sorry, can't help with the "u" key. I could use an "m" key for a dell laptop though.

Mine does not say DONATE! There isn't anything!

Not next to your blessings. On a post of the person to whom you wish to donate.

You should see something like this:
