CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's REAL warm for me rite now & a POOOOOOOOOOPY day ----
I GOT A TICKET THIS MORNING for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign.
My husband's going to kill me when I tell him tonite.
How do you break that news to someone?

wouldn't worry overly - almost everyone has rolled through a stop sign at least once
(we have lots and lots of 4 way stop signs in my town - and constantly comment on the fact that most people don't know how they work)

Imagine how I felt as he was talking about trading in his beloved truck w/ 300,000 miles on it to get a new truck that his business partner offered to pay 1/2 the payment for. I was thinking to myself "should I mention the insurance that might be a just a LITTLE BIT HIGHER on a new vehicle now?"

I'm thinking (and admit I could well be wrong) that a little, tiny moving violation (like not coming to a complete stop) will have little, if any, impact on your insurance
