  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good morning coffee reps coming your way. I am getting ready for another busy day at the mall.

Rep me please so that the customers will be nice to me. Yesterday we had to call the police cause there were 5 drunk young adults causing a scene and wanting different parts of their body pierced. (We only pierce ears.)

I was actually scared yesterday between them and the nastyness of some of the other customers throughout the day.

Good morning, friendly Repaholics. I need sympathy reps today... My husband is singing all three services, and I was so looking forward to enjoying attending and seeing him - however, my son spent the night throwing up, and now I have to miss! I am soooooooo upset! I am praying someone will at least tape the service for me.... :( :( :( We will also miss going to visit my in-laws for our Christmas with them. I am so depressed.

I think reps might help me feel a bit better, though...

I hope you get to see your husband sing :prayer: My son is singing Silent Night solo at one of our services today, except he has mixed emotions about me being there. When he looks out at the audience he sees me, then messes up^_^ I keep telling him to look beyond the audience but it takes time before anything sinks in to an 11 year olds brain (at least mine) ;)
