CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone
Just getting in from the mall. I am soo tired. My reps are available at 11:30pm. I love you all, but there is no way I can stay up that late tonight. I promise to rep everyone in the am before I go back to the mall to work a 10 hour day tomorrow.
Feel pity for me.....Not only did I work 8 1/2 hours at the mall today with busy crowds of people, but a high school marching band walked around the mall and played during the afternoon. The band would probably sound really good at a football game or anywhere outside, but try to picture an entire marching band in the mall with all the drums, horns and cymbals.

watched my grandsons today so their parents could go Christmas shopping
Grandsons helped put up Christmas lights (so glad to have that done - I thought my house looked rather sad)
My work's Christmas party was this evening - really good food, good company - very nice time
Now I'm back home all set to give out reps
