CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The girl who runs the dance group where my daughter goes suddenly remembers that I said I sew. LOL. They are looking at making costumes because the costume companies are taking so long to deliver costumes lately.

Happy Saturday. My friend and I installed a doggy door for my dog, Jack and he is still learning how to use it.

I remember when we installed a cat door for the cats so we didn't have to leave the basement door open. We had to shove them through it a few times before they would go near it themselves. It was sooooo funny!

I installed one for our 2 cats and 1 dog. It took a couple of weeks worth of shoving the dog out before she caught on. Then I really messed with them. I moved their way out to another door. After one year I still have one of the cats sitting by the old door waiting to get outI remember when we installed a cat door for the cats so we didn't have to leave the basement door open. Jack is getting used to the doggie door. He has been in and out about 10/15 times already this morning. Just like a little kid.
We were getting him used to it coaxing him with treats and hugs on both sides of the door last night.
Do you all keep it open during the day when you go to work....or only keep it open when you are home.....

We have 2 yorkies. One is stubborn about coming in. Now the other yorkie will run after him and herd him in the door nipping at the stubborn yorkie's back leg if he won't move.
It is a riot to watch.
Now I just say, "go get him Cosmo" and he takes after him.

We have a Lhasa so the door is a very small opening. We keep it open all the time. The area is unaffected by our motion sensors so security is not a problem.Jack is getting used to the doggie door. He has been in and out about 10/15 times already this morning. Just like a little kid.
