CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

hi everyone. today was a whirlwind of activity. I refinanced the house, paid off the credit cards, and am training people on how to do my job. totally exhausted. could use a good repping.

Well, here are the fine points. You rep. It says you can't rep. You X out of there. Then hit the thumbs up again. Nope. And again. Nope. And again. Okay, this time it shows you that you can rep. So you post something, quick. Then you hit the send button. And it says you can't rep. So you do it again, and finally, eventually, you can actually rep, it actually goes through and shows up on your control panel. Only it doesn't show up on your reppie's control panel where it should be, it's 8 messages down, or 3 or 9.
But you rep anyway, because. Well, because. Because.
I'm not sure why because.
Hmm...I've got to think about that.
Okay, I'm going to copy this before I post it. Because it could get eaten by cyberspace, or end up in Nadiine's cat's hair....

the good thing about being away for the past few days - you missed all the downtime - and are just stuck with the glitches now that you're back.
My Easter was really nice too - my kids and grandkids came over for dinner after church, we had a wonderful day.
