CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sadly I won't. I have a deadline coming up and have to work through this Wednesday. Yes, even Sunday.
Since I haven't been able to spend as much time on here, I wouldn't be able to rep back and guilt is not a good thing. Plus I felt I'd gotten too caught up in the reps thing rather than fellowshipping here and elsewhere, so needed to refocus my priorities.

Good Morning! It is a beautiful, sunny morning here in the south!
I have some exciting news to share!!! An answer to prayer. I have a connective tissue disease and my doctor would like to try a drug that is given via IV. It costs over $15K per infusion. I found out on Thursday that my insurance will cover this treatment 100% after a $100 deductible per calendar year! I think I will get 4-6 infusions per year. My first one is scheduled in 3 wks.
