I used to get horrid migraines, and then I started going through menopause. Now there's lots about menopause that I hate, but I do love that I don't get those awful headaches anymore! Praise the Lord!

I have an update and clarifying some misinformation. This may be to graphic for some so if it bothers you I wouldn't read any further.

Shannon had been sick for a while with some stomach virus. She had recently started violently throwing up. Last night she had thrown up so much that she was having severe stomach pain.

They took her to the hospital this morning and tried to relieve her pain but it wasn't working. The baby was becoming distressed. They felt no choice but to take the baby.

When they cut her open to remove the baby blood poured out of her like a river. This is what her mother told me that the doctor told her. They couldn't find where she was bleeding from right away.

All the violent vomiting caused her spleen to rupture. Had the baby not become distressed and had the doctors not decided to remove the baby Shannon would have silently bled to death enternally. Both her and the baby would have died.

So thankful to God and His mercy and grace!! She has lost half her blood. She's stable but in critical condition. That is all I know at this moment.

Oh the baby is just under 3 pounds and her lungs seemed to be in good condition. They named her Teagan. Not sure if I spelled it right though. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

God is good! There is no coincidence for anything. That baby saved her mother's life! Praise the Lord for working in mysterious ways!

I totally agree!

When Charlean stopped at the church to give me some of the money she owed me I asked her what they named the baby and then she said they were looking for a "B" name for the middle name. Something to reflect what they went through. I said Bella. She asked what that meant and I said, "Beautiful". She seemed to like it but I'm not sure if it's something they'll keep.
