CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My cat looks like she eats pretty much everything (in the words of the vet she's "wealthy" - - in other words, she's more than a little overweight). But she doesn't eat human food, which is probably a good thing because she'd never leave me alone.
It's just convenient having an animal around to blame for things going missing.

I had a cat that was 18.5 pounds. The vet said it was the heaviest cat he'd ever seen. I'd seen one that was probably at least another 5 pounds heavier lying on the closet floor of a house we were looking at to buy. LOL. That was a monster cat!

Good morning -- took me a while to read up. I started a thread in BE, so first order of business was paying off the blessings. Talk about being a repaholic . . . I woke up at 3:30 this morning and my first thought was my reload was due at 5:46 this morning. Anyway, I couldn't wait to sign on AND all I have is ONE REP!!!! What is up with that?????
